The Maryland Singles Social Club hosts elevated and sophisticated events for professional singles who have grown tired of incessant swiping and dating-app inauthenticity. Our goal is to create a better work-life balance for Maryland Singles who see their "time" as their most precious commodity and prefer to get to know a potential partner through face-to-face engagement.

Our events are open to men and women age 25+, and they will include general mixers, speed dating, weekend retreats, flash dinners, and more.

Our goal is to diversify the opportunities singles have to connect in Howard, Montgomery, and Price Georges County monthly. No matter where you live, you are invited to travel to join us and meet exciting singles in Maryland!

Expect to walk into a room with a visibly wide age range of adults.

Our holiday mixer will be open to singles 25 and up.

Expect conversations with multiple new people, all of whom turned out to explore just like you chatting with one another and forming new connections.

If you have anxiety about attending one of these events, allow me to ease your mind: There’s no need to avoid an in-person dating event at any age. At the same time, if you are looking to date a bit older/younger, this is definitely a great place to start (as opposed to raising your age range on an app, which can get a little dicey and occasionally creepy).

This is also a good reminder that you can always date outside of your “comfort zone” and need not exclusively seek out romantic partnerships that are in your exact same demographic.

Unlike hitting the town at a regular bar, the subtext of an in-person dating event is explicitly romantic. Attendees have an intention there: to meet and get to know someone new.

An in-person dating event is a great reminder that the most seemingly dull details of your life (what you do, where you’re from, and what neighborhood you live in) are way more interesting when you’re having an IRL conversation.

Plus, seeing someone get animated talking about their life is about 400x more attractive than hearing it via the internet.

Each event is priced based on 3 factors. Capacity, Location, In-Event Service.

“Is the event a smaller gathering for more intimate connections?”

“Is the event in a more expensive venue?”

“Is the event offering a certain number of drinks, or food?”

All of this contributes to cost, and we do our best to keep pricing reasonable, but also safeguard the integrity of the experience we want to offer attendees.

Our holiday centric events are the largest, and the most expensive out of the year. Compare our cost to what you would spend for a night out on your own or with friends, and we guarantee its worth it.
