The Maryland Singles Social Club hosts elevated and sophisticated events for professional singles who have grown tired of incessant swiping and dating-app inauthenticity. Our goal is to create a better work-life balance for Maryland Singles who see their "time" as their most precious commodity and prefer to get to know a potential partner through face-to-face engagement.

Our events are open to men and women age 25+, and include general mixers, speed dating, weekend retreats, dinners, game nights, and more.

Our goal is to diversify the way singles connect in Howard, Montgomery, and Price George’s County. No matter where you live, you are invited to travel to join us and meet exciting singles in Maryland!

Never been to a singles event before?

Singles events can vary widely depending on the organizer and type of event. The majority of our events take place in the evening at hand-chosen venues and are positioned as casual and relaxed events.

We put a lot of time and effort into promoting our events across various channels to attract as many new singles to each event as possible. And we’re proud to share that at most events we get over 50% new faces – which is HUGE!

There’s no substitute for meeting people out and about in real life – and knowing everyone around you is single takes lots of pressure off normal nights out.

Our events are currently aimed at heterosexual singles age 25-65.

We try our hardest to achieve a 50/50 mix of ladies and gents, but can not always guarantee this. 

We have a great team of hosts who are always excited to welcome you to MSSC events.

Upon arrival, you will be: 

• Greeted by your host/s

• Checked-in (you don't need to print your ticket)

• Introduced to the (optional) ice-breaker activity

• Asked to wear a name tag (first name and first letter of your surname if more than one attendee shares your name)

Our hosts will be around during the event to ensure you’re having a good time. And if you need them for anything, they’re very happy to help – just ask!

Each event is priced based on 3 factors. Capacity, Location, In-Event Service.

“Is the event a smaller gathering for more intimate connections?”

“Is the event in a more expensive venue?”

“Is the event offering a certain number of drinks, or food?”

All of this contributes to cost, and we do our best to keep pricing reasonable, but also safeguard the integrity of the experience we want to offer attendees.

Events that incorporate food and wine, overnight travel, or a prolonged activity can cost more than a standard happy hour or speed dating event.
